As G7 finance ministers gather in Iqaluit, Canada, to discuss reforming the global financial system, STWR joins campaigners from around the world in demanding that the IMF immediately and unconditionally cancel Haiti’s debt.
Share The World’s Resources and the British Film Institute screened the UK premier of ‘The End of Poverty?’ on 12th December 2009 at BFI Southbank, London. The film was followed by a lively panel discussion and Q&A session with leading voices on world poverty.
Between 13-17 November 2009, representatives of Share The World’s Resources attended a Civil Society Organisation’s Forum parallel to the World Food Summit in Rome.
